He was born in Istanbul in 1972. He graduated from the Painting Department of Dokuz Eylül University in 1996. He took courses in the philosophy department during and after his studies. He later put his artistic activities aside and pursued other interests, including archaeological restoration, baroque string instrument making, permaculture, and natural farming. He adopted a quiet, productive, and introverted lifestyle. The totalitarian regimes that affected the world also affected his country and his life, forcing him to reexamine his life and perspective. He began to refocus on his artistic endeavors in 2025 with the release of his philosophical and political short film "Farewell," which won awards at various festivals. He has not yet exhibited his paintings anywhere.
